There are a lot of shops, many of them sell clothes but there are also Technology shops like Bose, Sony or Apple (there is a big Apple Center). Also in this place there is a big food court that it is so similar to Metrotown Food Court and it is good to eat something fast but in my opinion it’s better if you go outside to find a place for lunch and later come back into the mall.Ok, this mall is probably one of the most famous in Vancouver because it is in Downtown. You can go there directly from the Grandville Station or from Grandville St., There are many entries. Probably in this place there are not too much offers for clothes or others stuffs but the prices for us that come from Europe, probably it is cheaper in any case.

During the riot after the Canucks Final (where they lost against Boston Bruins), Pacific Center was one of the place more targetted from stupid people that broke all shop windows. After one or two days, it was like days before and nobody could see differences and signs of that crazy night.

This place is really nice and I went there many times with friends or also alone to buy something. There are many shops about many stuffs. Many of them are clothes (like in every mall). You can find many big brands like American Eagle, Tommy Hilfinger, Oakley, ..) and many little shops where you can find nice things and many gifts for your friends. Sometimes many shops make discounts and if you’re lucky you can buy what you want with a low price. I can give you an example on this: the lense of my camera. When I was in Vancouver I was searching for a new lense for my camera, a big lense 70-300mm because I knew that I could find it with a lower price than in Italy. I tried to find it also in my trip in Seattle but in that shop they told me a big price similar to italian price (but remember that in many cases on this kind of objects the warrancy is not valid in your own country so, I wanted to buy it only if I found a really good price). Finally I saw a really good price in a shop in Metropolis! There was a big discount where you could save $100 plus the lower original price. I bought the lense in this shop (Black’s Cameras) and I saved $300!!

In this mall there is a big food court where you can find many fast food but in my opinion they are a little bit expensive and not so good. Anyway, I think that in all of malls the situation is the same and if you are hungry there are many different kind of foods.

A strange thing that I found here is a Chinese Market. In this place the asian people can find many foods of their own country and for me that I’m italian it was really strange for two reason: 1. there were only asian people inside that place (I went there everytime with my taiwanese friends) 2. the food there is really different from here in Italy and you can find many strange things, I recommend to go there with friends that can read chinese because many times you need help to understand which kind of food you want to try.

It’s really easy to go there because the mall is just outside the Skytrain stop Metrotown.
